Al Zamil & Pakistan Ambassador in KSA Discuss Economic Relations

Chairperson of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Dr. Abdulrahman Al Zamil received in his office the Pakistani Ambassador to the Kingdom Manzour Al Haq where the two discussed areas to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

Al Zamil started by noting the distinguished economic relations joining the two countries, expressing CSC’s readiness to assist in any capacity possible in this regard. He added that there is mutual interest in developing bilateral relations at different levels, stressing Saudi investors’ keenness on exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan, a step supported by CSC. Al Zamil took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of increasing delegation exchanges between the two sides due to their pivotal role in enhancing bilateral relations.

For his part, Al Haq assured that his country acknowledges the Saudi government’s efforts in supporting Pakistan, noting that the interest is mutual in increasing bilateral trade. He explained that Pakistan has been cultivating an investment environment that attracts foreign investors, particularly from Saudi Arabia. The Pakistani Ambassador further explained the availability of partnership opportunities for Saudi investors in Pakistan, noting the distinguished geographic location of the country, which allows access into several Asian markets.

The meeting touched on joint efforts to increase economic cooperation between the two countries, including organizing exhibitions, bilateral business meetings, exchanging information, and activating the Saudi-Pakistani Business Council as an effective tool to enhance bilateral trade. The meeting additionally addressed the state of Pakistani workers in the Kingdom.

At the end of the meeting, the CSC Chairperson offered the Ambassador a symbolic souvenir, wishing him further prosperity in his future endeavors.
It is worth noting that Secretary General of CSC Eng. Khalid Al Otaiby and Assistant Secretary General for Foreign Affairs Waleed Al Orainan attended the meeting.
