CSC Secretary General & Djibouti Ambassador Talk Economic Cooperation

Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC), Dr. Saud Al Meshari, received in his office HE Djibouti’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dhia-Eddin Said Bamakhrama, where the two discussed ways to foster trade and economic relations between the two friendly countries.
Dr. Al Meshari noted the firm relations between Saudi Arabia and Djibouti, and stated that CSC is keen on supporting the Kingdom’s economic relations with the African continent, and particularly countries of the Horn of Africa, considering the region’s vast investment opportunities. He pointed to Djibouti’s strategic location and the proximity of its ports to those of the Kingdom.
The CSC Secretary General pointed to the support of the two countries’ leaderships in various areas, especially on the economic front, and stressed that both, the Saudi and Djibouti business sector should take advantage of this support to further develop the Saudi-Djiboutian trade and investment partnership. Al Meshari expressed CSC’s readiness to assistant in any capacity possible in this regard.
For his part, Mr. Bamakhrama praised the significant developments in the Saudi-Djiboutian relations, especially economically, and encouraged Saudi investors to explore and take advantage of the capabilities and investment opportunities that his country offers.
The Djiboutian Ambassador extended an invitation for the Saudi business sector to participate in the 1st International Trade Conference, set to take place in Djibouti on December 3-7, 2017.
