Secretary Generals of CSC and Arab-German Chamber Discuss Economic Cooperation

Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Dr. Saud Al Meshari and Secretary General of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry Abdulaziz Al Mekhlafi discussed ways to activate cooperation between the two organizations for the benefit of the business communities in both countries.
Dr. Al Meshari noted the important role of joint Arab chambers in fostering trade and investment relations between Arab countries and their foreign counterpart, particularly the Arab-German Chamber, adding that it is important to take advantage of Germany’s advanced technologies and expertise. He praised the growing relations between CSC and the Arab-German Chamber and their continued efforts to organize trade activities in KSA and Germany and shed light on investment opportunities in the two countries.
Al Mekhlafi stated that there are various sectors that can contribute to fostering cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Germany, particularly manufacturing, healthcare, renewable energy, environment, and infrastructure, reiterating Al Meshari’ s words on utilizing German expertise in this regard. He conveyed the German side’s delight in the positive shift in KSA post-Saudi Vision 2030 and its impact on national economy and attracting more local and foreign investments.
The meeting discussed activities of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the upcoming year, and agreed on enhancing coordination between CSC and the joint chamber to organize more economic activities.
