CSC Secretary General and Saudi Ambassador to Bulgaria Discuss Economic Relations

Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Dr. Saud Al Meshari received in his office the Saudi Ambassador to Bulgaria, HE Mesfer bin Abdulrahman Al Ghaseb, where the two discussed ways to foster economic and trade relations between Saudi Arabia and Bulgaria.

Dr. Al Meshari touched during the meeting on the importance of fostering Saudi-Bulgarian relations, and activating the role of their respective business communities in this regard. In addition to activating the cooperation agreement between CSC and Bulgaria’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry which aims at increasing trade and investment between the two countries through exchanging information on the opportunities in their respective markets, and submitting suggestions that can improve their economic cooperation.

Al Meshari highlighted the opportunities that the Saudi Vision 2030 offers to Bulgarian investors, which they can benefit from by entering into partnerships with their Saudi counterpart, calling for more joint efforts and increased delegation exchanges, and economic forums that shed light on investment opportunities in the two countries.

For his part, the Saudi Ambassador expressed readiness to cooperate with CSC to serve the business community and foster their trade and investment cooperation with their Bulgarian side so as to benefit the two nations, noting that Bulgaria offers various opportunities for Saudi investors to explore, besides its investment environment and incentivizing tax laws.

Mr. Al Ghaseb described his visit to CSC as part of the Saudi Embassy in Bulgaria’s efforts to foster economic relations between the two countries, and its keenness on supporting the role of the Saudi business sector and its institutions in this regard.
