CSC Chairperson and Kuwait Ambassador Discuss Economic Cooperation

Chairperson of the Council of Saudi Chambers Eng. Ahmed Al Rajhi received in his office the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, HE Shaikh Thamer Al Subah, where the two discussed ways to foster economic and trade relations between the two brotherly countries.
Eng. Al Rajhi noted the robust Saudi-Kuwaiti relations at the political and popular levels, assuring the Saudi business community’s keenness on fostering these relations by seeking new channels for direct trade between the two countries, and increasing their joint investments. He stressed the important role of the business communities in both countries in the upcoming period to increase trade so as to reflect the special relations between the two countries. Al Rajhi expressed CSC’s readiness to assist Kuwaiti investors and delegation, and coordinate with their Kuwaiti counterpart in all issues of mutual interest to the two countries, and at the GCC and Arabian level.
For his part, the Kuwaiti Ambassador praised the robust and brotherly relations between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, which are steadily growing, noting that Kuwait is keen on increasing its investments with the Kingdom in the upcoming period in light of the Saudi Vision 2030 and its ambitious economic plans, and entering into joint ventures with Saudi investors as Kuwaiti businesses had a successful experience in the Saudi market. He also conveyed Kuwait’s interest in attracting more Saudi investors to its market.
Mr. Al Subah noted the robust and prosperous economies of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, which encourages them to increase their trade and take advantage of their respective opportunities so as to reach a sustainable strategic partnership and achieve a turning point in their economic relations that benefit their respective nations. He called for creating a Saudi-Kuwaiti Business Council as a means to achieve this endeavor.
