CSC Chairperson and Tajikistan Ambassador Discuss Economic and Investment Cooperation

Chairperson of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Eng. Ahmed Al Rajhi received in his office HE Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Darrab Addin Qasimi, where the two discussed ways to foster economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

Al Rajhi noted the distinguished relations between Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan, especially on the economic and trade front, and the importance to foster these relations by increasing trade delegations, exchanging information in regards to the latest investment opportunities in the two countries, and enabling investors in both countries to review these opportunities. He expressed CSC’s readiness to assistant in this regard, and facilitate the participation of Tajikistani companies in Saudi exhibitions to promote their various products and services.

For his part, the Tajikistani Ambassador expressed appreciation for the Saudi leadership, represented in King Salman bin Abdulaziz, for the support to Tajikistan in various fields. He conveyed Tajikistan’s keenness on entering into constructive partnerships with their Saudi counterpart, expressing the interest of many Tajikistani companies to visit the Kingdom for this purpose, and to shed light on the various opportunities in Tajikistan.

The meeting emphasized the significance of exchanging trade delegations and attracting Saudi investors to Tajikistan, whose tourism sector is one of the most attractive to international tourists, averaging around 600.000 tourists in 2017.
