CSC Officials: Business Community Renews Allegiance to Saudi Leadership, Praise Record Economic Achievements

Officials of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) stated that the Saudi business community and its institutional bodies, represented in CSC and Chambers of Commerce and Industry, declare renewal of allegiance to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz on the 3rd anniversary of the accession, during which he carried on the development process started by the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud.
CSC Chairperson Eng. Ahmed Al Rajhi conveyed, on this occasion, his regards to King Salman, Crown Prince, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and President of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs Mohammed bin Salman, and the Saudi people. He said that the occasion reflects the robust relations and loyalty between the Saudi leadership and the people, adding that the accession anniversary coincides with a significant economic shift in the Kingdom, the last – but not least – of which is the announcement of the state budget for the year 2018, which is the largest in the country’s history. He commended the unyielding support of the Saudi leadership to the business community and its keenness on involving it in the economic decision making, as well as fostering an effective Public-Private Partnership which enhanced the role of the private sector in the economic and social development process.
For his part, CSC Vice Chairperson Dr. Sami Al Obaidy described the 3rd anniversary of the accession as a celebratory occasion for the Saudi people, noting the significant changes that happened during King Salman’s reign, including the launching of the Saudi Vision 2030 and National Transformation Program 2020 and their accompanying initiatives, putting the Kingdom on the right path towards an integrated sustainable development that supports competitiveness in national economy, reduces oil reliance, and enhances the investment environment in it.
CSC Vice Chairperson Muneer bin Saad stated that the anniversary represents a great value to the Saudi people who happen to celebrate the occasion concurrently with the announcement of the state budget for the year 2018, whose initiatives hold great hopes for the Saudi business community going into the new year, building on the developments in the financial, procedural, commercial and judicial systems that enhanced local and foreign investors’ trust in the Kingdom as an international investment hub.
CSC Secretary General Dr. Saud Al Meshari called the 3rd anniversary of the accession a great opportunity for the Saudi people to express their appreciation for the Saudi leadership, embodied in King Salman, whose keenness on ensuring good living standards for the Saudi people is immeasurable. Al Meshari additionally noted King Salman’s interest in ensuring the presence of the Saudi business community in international arenas, which fosters the Kingdom’s trade partnerships with the world.
The CSC Officials concluded their statements by praying for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to remain in safety and stability under its leadership, wishing for continued prosperity into the future.
