CSC Officials: King Address on Future of Economy Assures Local and International Communities

Chairperson of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Eng. Ahmed Al Rajhi praised the address of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, on political and economic affairs during the inauguration of the second year of the 7th Session of Shura Council.
Eng. Al Rajhi commended the transparency and clarity of the King’s address in respect to local, regional and international issues and challenges, especially on the economic front, and the Kingdom’s policies to sustain development under such circumstances, including launching the Saudi Vision 2030 whose goals entail restructuring certain government institutions and issuing decisions for the betterment of society, stability, and combating corruption. In addition to involving citizens, men and women, in the national economic development process.
The CSC Chairperson added that the Saudi business community, represented in CSC, works in line with the Kingdom’s economic endeavors under the leadership of King Salman. He praised the King’s keenness on maintaining abidance by Islamic laws and ensuring justice and consultation, in addition to his duties towards serving the two holy mosques and pilgrims.
For his part, CSC Vice Chairperson Dr. Sami Al Obaidy commended King Salman’s address and its commitment towards eliminating challenges and encouraging local and foreign investments, and fostering economic diversification, noting that this will attract more investors to the Saudi market and elevate the Kingdom’s ranking in ease of doing business worldwide.
CSC Vice Chairperson Muneer bin Saad pointed to the hopeful tone of the King’s address in regards to the future of Saudi economy, and the prospects of enhancing the private sector’s role in the national development process through employment of national talents and transferring technology to the Saudi market.
CSC Secretary General Dr. Saud Al Meshari commended, for his part, the emphasis in the King’s address on combating corruption and promoting integrity, saying that it fosters trust in the Saudi business environment. He also praised the King’s directives to ministers and officials to facilitate procedures, expand programs, and provide services that concern citizens.
CSC officials stressed their commitment in the Saudi business community to the Kingdom in supporting its development and economic endeavors so as to maintain its reputable position in world economy.
