Al Srour: Royal Decrees Reflect Keenness on Enhancing Living Standards

  Chairperson of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) at the Council of Saudi Chambers, and representative of the World Chambers Federation in G20, Yassin Al Srour, praised the royal decrees issued by King Salman bin Abdulaziz to help citizens adjust to the current economic reforms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stating that the decrees will reflect positively on national economy.

Al Srour added that the royal decrees indicate the Saudi leadership’s keenness on enhancing the living standards of citizens, with no distinction or discrimination, noting the transparency in dealing with and revisiting conditions, and taking into account citizens’ needs, as reflected in the exemptions of the private education and healthcare
sectors from the value-added tax.
Al Srour said that the Kingdom is steadily reaping the benefits of its efforts, especially in terms of diversifying sources of income, as per the Saudi Vision 2030 and National Transformation Program 2020 goals.
The ICC Chairperson expects for the newly launched decrees to enhance activity in all economic sectors, and consequently, enhance trust in the investment environment in Saudi Arabia, concluding his statement by wishing for the Kingdom to witness more prosperity under the guidance of its wise leadership.
