CSC Delegation in Ethiopia and Djibouti to Address Economic Relations

A delegation representing the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) is embarking on a business trip to Ethiopia and Djibouti to seek cooperation with their counterpart in both countries with the aim of fostering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s economic relations worldwide in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
The delegation’s program will launch with the Saudi-Djiboutian Economic Forum, in which they will give three presentations on the investment environment, incentives and opportunities for foreign investors in the Kingdom. In addition to the International Trade Fair of Djibouti in its second session, whose participants come from around the world, which will shed light on the investment environment in Djibouti and its strategic geographic location as a gateway to 400 million consumers in the African continent.
The CSC delegation will meet with businesspeople from Djibouti on the sidelines of the Forum, and make a field trip to the ports of Djibouti.
In the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa, the Saudi delegation is set to participate in the Saudi-Ethiopian Economic Forum, which offers an opportunity to explore the Ethiopian market and discuss partnership opportunities between the two sides in various economic sectors.
The two business trips are in line with the Kingdom’s endeavors in regards to fostering international relations and exploring new markets for Saudi products.
It is worth noting that CSC and Djibouti Chamber of Commerce signed an agreement in April of last year to create the Saudi-Djiboutian Business Council to maintain dialogue and cooperation between the business communities in the two friendly countries.
