CSC Participates in Union of Arab Chambers Session in Muscat

  Chairperson of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Dr. Sami Al Obaidy participated in the 129th session of the Union of Arab Chambers in Muscat, Oman, whose participants included officials from federations and chambers of member states.

Dr. Al Obaidy, who led the Saudi delegation, stated that as a representative of the business community, CSC was keen to participate in the occasion in line with the Saudi leadership’s endeavors towards fostering joint Arab ventures, as well as the Saudi business community’s keenness to partake in such occasions. He described the gathering as vital in fostering PPP and policymaking.

The CSC Chairperson commended the role of the Union of Arab Chambers in supporting the economic development process in the Arab region, and hoped to see more success in joint Arab ventures for the betterment of living standards in the region. He thanked the Omani side for hosting the ceremony.

Dr. Al Obaidy stated that the 129th session tackled various subjects regarding the Union’s activities in recent years, and addressed the financial status and final budget for the year 2019. In addition to discussing the Union’s digital project, along with a number of topics relevant to Arab-Foreign joint ventures.
