World Wisdom Initiative Honors CSC Chairperson for Socio-economic Contributions

The World Wisdom Initiative, a United Nations-affiliated initiative, awarded the Council of Saudi Chambers Chairperson and Chairperson of Taif Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Dr. Sami Al Obaidy, the “Medal of Wisdom” for his social and economic contributions to the Saudi business community in general, and Taif city in particular. His efforts noted to have effectively addressed various issues and fostered endeavors including sustainable development, charity work, and raising awareness in the business community.

Dr. Al Obaidy stated that the efforts come in line with the Saudi leadership’s endeavors to achieve social and economic progress for its nation, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman; adding that it is an honor to serve under such enlightened leadership.

For his part, Founder and Chairperson of the World Wisdom Initiative, Dr. Maher Kheder, commended Dr. Al Obaidy for his contributions to serving the community through his posts as CSC Chairperson and Taif Chamber Chairperson, adding that such efforts echo the World Wisdom Initiative’s concerning raising awareness and shedding light on the best practices among members of the community.

The World Wisdom Initiative aims at creating a bright future by providing the upcoming generation with a “Wisdom Compass” to lead with knowledge in all walks of life, and turning conflicts into cooperation in regards to mutual challenges and securing stability.

It is worth noting that the Medal of Wisdom had been awarded to several high-level officials, including HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, HRH Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal Al Saud, Governor of Al Qassim Region, as well as the previous Spanish Foreign Minister and Tunisian Culture Minister.
