CSC Secretary General & Singapore Ambassador Discuss Economic Cooperations

Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Dr. Saud Al Meshari received in his office HE the Ambassador of Singapore to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Lawrence Anderson, where the two discussed areas of economic cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Dr. Al Meshari noted the special relations joining Saudi Arabia and Singapore, particularly on the economic and investment front; expressing CSC’s readiness to provide its full support to further enhance these relations. He stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the business sectors in both countries and exploring their respective investment opportunities.
The CSC Secretary General touched on the main axes of the Saudi Vision 2030 in regards to the Public-Private Sector Partnership, privation, and attracting foreign investments, among other areas of expanding cooperation.
For his part, the Singaporean Ambassador praised the developments in the two counties’ relations, noting that Singapore is a favorable spot for investors due to its political stability and convenient business environment; adding that the country achieved significant developments by relying on trained, highly skilled labor force.
Mr. Anderson stressed Singapore’s interest in enhancing its relations with the Kingdom, and increasing joint investments, as reflected in their keenness on facilitating business visas for Saudi investors.
The meeting touched on preparations for the Singaporean delegation’s visit to the Kingdom, which will include representatives of different sectors with the aim of enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
