7th Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition Launches Feb 20 in Jeddah

The Council of Saudi Chambers is endorsing the 7th Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition, set to take place on Feb 20-21, 2018 in Jeddah. The event is co-organized by Gulf Education and the University of Business & Technology, and will include an array of speakers from GCC member states.

CSC’s endorsement comes as part of its efforts to enhance quality in the private and international education sector, and build strategic partnerships with relevant parties, locally, regionally and globally, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 endeavors to develop the sector.

CSC encouraged the relevant sectors in the Kingdom to participate in the event and benefit from its content in respect to developing the educational process in the Kingdom. It also encouraged families and students to participate so as to explore their options of leading universities, and take note of their courses during the two-day event.

The Gulf Education Conference has become one of the main educational events in the region and enjoyed previous successes, including its past session, which was held under the auspices of Saudi Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed Al Issa and attended by Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdullatif Al Zayani and a number of leading figures from the sector, in addition to over 120 universities. The event attracted over 25.000 visitors and has become a point of interest to bodies tasked with elevating educational services to international standards.

The 7th conference will discuss partnership between the education and business sectors, and the prospects of the GCC member states, mainly Saudi Arabia, for the education sector in the future. The event will additionally include workshops on labor market affairs and international education and methods to enhance their performance. In addition to an exhibition in which over 20 countries and 150 universities and educational organization will share their experience and success stories.
